The Neuroscience of Change and Leadership

As a preview to the Oct 2010 Neuroleadership Summit, David Rock will share some of the findings that will be covered in depth at the summit.  Join the webinar to learn the latest science of the brain and how it can improve human and organizational performance.

Change is difficult.  New research is beginning to explain why it's so difficult, and how it can happen more easily.  However, to achieve this we may need to rethink many accepted paradigms, as brain research is uncovering a series of surprises about human functioning. NeuroLeadership is focusing on four domains that are emerging as the central organizing principles:

1.  Decision making and problem solving

2.  Staying cool under pressure

3.  Collaborating with others

4.  Facilitating change

Your effectiveness can be maximized if you incorporate the latest findings from neuroscience into your approach. David will help you understand how change occurs, and how to incorporate these findings into your methodology to help clients and teams accept and deal with change initiatives. Attendees will gain insights that can improve their own effectiveness and productivity as well as ways to help their teams.
